And folks wonder why I am so down on car electronics these days, parts with no markings, manufacturers protecting schematics like the crown jewels, too much software.
All of these roll up into electric vehicles and a big crap pile of non recyclable bits heading our way !
We actually have a local radio advert running here, one of the reasons to by a used volvo from the volvo dealer, "...it comes with all the latest software updates"
For fudges sake when did that become a thing when buying a car, does that mean it stops working on the next update.
Folks seem to forget all this stuff is dealer and specialist only, forget prestige brands, your ford escort fiesta or focus has as much electronics in them now.

Had to go get some bits for a repair/modifcation today.
I am defo getting too old for working with resistors this size, happy to design with them as on screen they can be 300mm high
but in real life this is it
3 x 2K resistors
