    Repair materials, why I like Zintec

    Well light duties but moved a few things around out in the fresh air.

    This has been sitting outside since mid 2019 and I mean outside, 6 sheets 2mm Zintec. Was going to cut it up for chassis sections but no energy. Brain is full on but the body is saying feek off

    That was the edge on the ground so thats been lying even in snow.

    Folks wonder why I prefer Zintec coatings, OK you need to clean it away from where you weld but any coating is forfeit when you weld anyway, a bit of zinc weld through primer, sorted.

    Still shows the extra pennies is worth it, scuff and a coat of epoxy over top and jobs a good un.

    You need to take care with the fumes when welding

      Gary, yes for sure, not nice but worth the extra time in prep, it needs to be cleaned off welded areas anyway as trying to weld over it is a royal pain in the wotsits, worst than welding rust
