MK1 shells, already have holes for Daves double engin cover stays

Noticed this today on Mildred, wonder if they made the shells originally for two stays ? would make sense that they did as one is not enough and the tight wads deleted the part.

Need to check the other MK 1, DDG did not have the extra holes



Or they have been drilled for something else but what ?

Looks very like extra holes for two stays as you say , theres no other reason they would be there

I cant think of Any Dave and never even noticed them before. Maybe they did away with them when the changes to the new hinge style
