Electrickery is easy Col, you just need to show it no fear it can sense fear a mile off !

It is just like a big drive belt between two pulleys, to work it has to travel from the motor pulley (source) to the target pulley (load) and back again equally to close the loop (circuit)

Cut the belt plenty energy at motor but sod all at target
