2 new toys acquired at the weekend both from the same owner and both been dry stored for at least 22 years.
Firstly 1985 Rover SD1 2000, 1 owner from new, opaline green metallic. 54,000 miles from new, been stored in a dry garage since 1999.
Secondly, 1973 Hillman imp deluxe, once again 1 owner from new, in beige 12,986 miles from new, been dry stored in domestic garage since 1989! Both very rare finds.
Whilst the rover is not really relevant here I thought it a significant find and had I not gone to see the Rover, I would not have discovered the Imp.
