My Imp dies intermittantly even with Petrol up to the pump.It doesnt cut out but fades out which to me suggests a fuel related issue. Leave for 15 mins and off he goes again. I was told it could be petrol evaporating in the pipe and i may need a heat shield. Has anyone else had this issue ?. Its a 1967 850cc standard car. It has a new fuel line / in line fuel filter and Carb has been taken down and rebuilt. This has been going on for some time now even before work was done.
