Hi all, I'm looking to mount a Sun-tach rev counter where the Ash tray is in a mk2 imp deluxe, it'll be in a gauge mount pod. Got quite a few pictures last night, hope you don't mind me sharing, past industry and now. This is Philadelphia crossing for the Newbottle collieries,(there was a mine either side of the road). Aparently some of the earliest rails track in the UK, possibly the world? (wooden rails with horse power) as the Steam engine hadnt been invented at that time. To the right were large railway buildings were they actually built steam locomotives, it was also area headquarters for the NCB. Horace’s battery (about 8 years old) is not holding charge so it needs to be replaced. Currently a Halfords Type 038 battery with round post terminals is installed. Looking for recommendations on best type/capacity of replacement (straight fit) and more importantly a reliable supplier.
