I Wanted a new plainer steering wheel centre for the Singer. So in the spirit of upcycling I turned an old dented kettle lid into one , theres 5 unevenly spaced tangs cut into the back of it so it only fits in one position , the wheel retaining ring has corresponding slots cut into it and the rear is bevelled ,I just line the grooves up and twist clockwise till the badge sits level which also has locating holes , the tangs hold it tight once its rotated into position .
