I'm glad I listened when my dad told me about copper slip. All the bolts on the passenger side front came off lovely the stub axle came out easily. As usual there is always something... the drivers side ball joint on really tight. Passenger one off with one hit. Spent more time in the stuck one than I did stripping down the entire passenger side.… Will give another crack at it 2mrw. Hopefully with better results ? Then to look at the stub axles.

Quick historic picture, my stiletto made it back on the roads after more than 20 yrs, (2 years ago it was still a caniblised shell), and not far from the mot centre the 1822 railway line designed by George Stephenson, its 61 years since coal trains ran to Sunderland from here, the line was ripped up the following day. (Bottom picture) of useless trivia , the area behind the camera is George vardy plant yard.. cousin to Reg Vardy, the used car sales franchise.
