  • has anyone successfully used waterless coolant with an IMP engine

Query, has anyone successfully used waterless coolant with an IMP engine, standard cooling system and standard pump? I've completely renewed all my cooling system new everything and it's completely dry so ideal if I was to fill it with Evans say, I like the idea of no pressure and no corrosion but know it makes the engine run hotter as its not as efficient at cooling as water antifreeze mix.

I normally use 50 50 Bluecol but that only has a life of 2 years OR I could use the Volvo long life antifreeze but both of course use water and thus could cause scaling and corrosion, none are perfect I know. I'm not bothered about the cost and waterless is I know expensive compared to normal antifreeze, but if it lasts years and years then it pays for itself after a few years anyway.

Just wondering if someone is currently using it and has not noticed any adverse effects? I've read it's better if you have an electric pump to increase the flow but I'm not going down that route, otherwise I will stay with antifreeze. Thanks for any info.
