Updgrade item not in WSM, in tank fuel filter for tank dandruff

    See article below

New style IMProvement for the Imp and other cars using bottom of tank fuel exit

Nice mod and serves a purpose with ageing tanks.

    See full ARTICLE HERE

Not a standard imp fitment but a well worth while mod, my own fuel pump mesh filter has never been so clean !

And another in tank fuel filter fitted. Alternative method this time, used an aluminium 15mm rod rather than the plastic tube and then used a pry bar with the end on te magnet to locate it. Worked like a charm.

Fantastic modification, tank flushed out great, I strongly suspect it was flakes as the tank was otherwise extremely clean inside but the line would be empty.

Two more to install in next few weeks ! have it down to 20 minutes end to end including nlowing back fuel line.

Unfortunately had to replace the fuel filler tube as well, lucky I already had one from Bob Allan at the Imp Club Spares service (membership required to purchase).

Need to order another one now as thats me out, add it to the list
