It is surprising Bob, some repair kits even genuine ones dont last long in certain castings s folks pick the wrong ones.

I tend to use Motomec ones now, if you have Girling ones and look after them change fluid they will last the pace. But they ar expensive now, about 3 times the price of compatible ones and if te compatible ones are not chineses copies that are fine.

Same with slave cylinders, £25 to £35 from usual suspects or £10 from local motor factors or Landie parts dealers.
