Extra interior / boot / engine bay lights

Imps only ever got one interior light and on some models that wasnt even door operated .
Also theres no boot light or engine bay light so to solve this i just added some in .
Wiring is simple , you just copy the interior light circuit c/w door switch and fit it the light where you want it ,
Heres a few ive added on mine

Singers boot light , just enough light to see what your doing , i use the standard Imp interior light but with the switch bar removed , standard door switch fitted here , theres a switch on the boot panel which kills the circuit so you can have the light off and the boot up in summer , impossible to leave on with the boot closed .



I added two floor lights and used red LEDs , great at night , they come on with the standard interior light







Engine bay light , this is mounted on plastic so the only earth it gets is from the door switch so impossible to leave on with the lid closed , door switch near the oil cooler

On the Vusky i added two rear lights , again standard Imp ones with the switch bar removed , really bright but tricky to photograph , theres an Off switch on the dash so you can leave the tailgate up with the lights off , door switch on the hinge mount . Again impossible to leave on with the tailgate shut .

Was that the LED lamps on the Vusky Dave, yes the light is rather sharp . Not sure if Pat has fitted one to Mildred yet

It is , need another couple really - Singers boot needs one for certain
